DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE THIS CHRISTMAS
Paula Roberts told how her beautiful six year old daughter Demi-Legh was mowed down by a drink driver as she skipped along the street singing songs with a friend. The driver, Ross Robinson, had downed at least five pints before getting into his fathers van and driving insanely through the streets. Blue-eyed bubbly Demi-Legh was killed instantaneously. Paula told her story to encourage motorists to abstain if they are getting behind the wheel at Christmas.

Elvis addict Lorna Bulmer told her hilarious story of her life as a sideburn chaser. Lorna stopped at nothing to get her man, and eventually married her Elvis impersonator hubby Paul. Lorna held out all her life to find someone as close to The King as she could get and fell for Paul at one of his gigs. The couple tied the knot at a wedding at the Elvis mansion in Graceland and now have a little baby of their own.

MY HUBBY HAD BREAST CANCER
Lisa and Chris Cotterill underwent every couple's worst nightmare when Chris was diagnosed with breast cancer. The couple have been together 14 years and had just had their first son in October 1999 when Chris found a lump in his right breast. Over the following ten years the couple battled the deadly disease - until Chris was finally given the all-clear. The pair now treasure every moment together and take nothing for granted. They are aware how lucky they are to have each other and thank their lucky stars every day that Chris has recovered.

Debbie noticed he began spending a lot longer in the bathroom grooming himself and Debbie, all too aware of the lack of bedroom time they were having as a couple, began to wonder what he was up to. When Mike died his grey-flecked hair black, it was the final straw. Debbie, in floods of tears, confronted Mike and demanded to know who this other woman was. If he lied to her she would leave. When Mike began to look sheepish, Debbie thought her worst fears had come true. But it appeared truth was stranger than fiction. Mike had in fact been pursuing a hobby as an Elvis impersonator.

When he was born his little right leg was bent into a U shape and his foot was facing the sky. This meant Nathaniel had to undergo a leg amputation. But, in a disarming display of bravery amputee Nathan is PROUD to be different and helps other children facing amputation.

Mum of two Gemma Blackwell always suspected something was wrong with her daughter Mia. But little did she know her daughter was suffering from a medical condition that left her little face permanently frozen. For Gemma the old adage that a change in wind direction will result in a frozen face is a daily reality for her lovely baby girl. She was born with the extremely rare Moebius condition which affects only two hundred children in the UK. It means her daughter is unable to blink, smile or change her facial expression.
